Ostara is always a moment when the world feels a little lighter again. The birds sing louder, the air smells fresher, and everything seems to whisper softly: “Spring is coming.” This year I celebrated Ostara together with Mathisca, and it became an evening filled with exactly that joyful, sparkling energy.
A warm little campfire at dusk
As soon as the sun had set, we lit a small campfire. Not big, but just enough to keep us warm and cast a cozy glow. It crackled happily, as if it too was glad that the days are growing longer again.
Incense, snacks and a drink
While the fire burned softly, we lit some incense. The scent blended with the evening air and gave everything a relaxed, almost festive atmosphere. We brought some simple snacks — nothing fancy, but just right — and a drink to toast to the new season.
Card reading by the fire
Of course, we also did a card reading. The cards fell surprisingly fitting, as if they knew exactly that Ostara is all about new opportunities, fresh energy, and gentle steps forward. It felt light, playful, and inspiring — no heavy messages, just soft nudges in the right direction.
An evening full of spring energy
Our Ostara celebration was warm, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Together with Mathisca, it felt as if we were completely in tune with the rhythm of nature. An evening full of light, magic, and cheerful spring energy — exactly how Ostara is meant to be.
